Finding patterns and using metaphors is essential in mathematics and programming. In this playful lecture, Roger Antonsen talks about this, experiments with patterns, and sees what happens!
Roger Antonsen has a PhD in mathematical logic and proof theory. He has given hundreds of popular science lectures on mathematics, communicates science in original ways, and teaches the course "INF1080 - Logical Methods" at the Department of Informatics. He has just published the textbook "Logical Methods: The Art of Abstract and Mathematical Thinking", which received the University Publishing House's textbook award in 2013.
